Engineered for Precision Filtration

This Spun Filter Cartridge features a robust polypropylene fiber media and a spun bond style, offering superior dirt-trapping efficiency for water and chemical pre-filtration. With a 5-micron rating, it effectively protects downstream RO membranes and other filter stages, ensuring both longevity and consistent water quality in diverse applications.

Versatile and Easy to Install

Designed to fit standard 10-inch filter housings with 1-inch inlet and outlet diameters, this cartridge provides seamless installation for various water filtration systems. Its lightweight, compact design (150g, 2.5-inch diameter) makes it suitable for use by manufacturers, dealers, and end-users in RO plants or water treatment setups.

FAQs of Spun Filter Cartridge:

Q: How do I install the 10 Inch Spun Filter Cartridge in my water filtration system?

A: To install, simply place the cartridge inside a standard 10-inch filter housing with 1-inch inlet and outlet ports. Ensure the flat gasket is seated properly for a secure, leak-free fit before closing the housing.

Q: What is the typical usage of this filter cartridge in RO systems?

A: This spun filter cartridge is primarily used as a pre-filtration stage in reverse osmosis (RO) systems, capturing sediment, dirt, and particles down to 5 microns. This helps protect sensitive RO membranes and prolongs system life.

Q: When should the Spun Filter Cartridge be replaced?

A: Cartridge replacement frequency depends on feed water quality and the flow rate, but it is generally recommended to change the filter every 3 to 6 months or when a noticeable drop in flow rate or water quality is observed.

Q: Where can this filter cartridge be used besides water filtration?

A: In addition to water filtration, this cartridge is suitable for chemical filtration, pre-treatment in industrial applications, and any process requiring particulate removal up to 5 microns. Its robust polypropylene construction withstands a variety of liquid streams.

Q: What are the benefits of using a spun bond polypropylene cartridge?

A: The spun bond polypropylene design offers high filtration efficiency (up to 98%), resistance to chemicals, and durability at temperatures up to 60C and pressures up to 4 bar. It reduces system maintenance and provides reliable contaminant removal.

Q: How does the flat gasket sealing enhance the filtration process?

A: The flat gasket provides a tight, reliable seal in standard housings, preventing bypass and ensuring all fluid passes through the filter media for maximum contaminant removal.
