About Multi Spring Sea
Multi Spring Seal
MICROTECH ENGINEERING
We offer multi spring seals that are most commonly used mechanical seals for all kinds of fluids and non-corrosive liquids. These multi spring seals can be used with different equipment that has rotating shafts such as pumps, mixers and agitators. Multiple spring design ensures uniform loading of seal face and components for acceptable shaft misalignment. Our range of multi spring seals is offered in balance as well as in unbalance configuration. We use viton or PTFE as a secondary packing.

FAQs of Multi Spring Sea:
Q: How does the multi spring mechanical seal ensure zero leakage in rotating equipment?
A: The seal utilizes a multiple spring design that distributes pressure evenly across the seal faces, paired with high-quality elastomers and advanced face materials such as Carbon, Ceramic, or Silicon Carbide. This combination maintains a consistent, tight seal, effectively preventing fluid leakage even under high pressures and temperatures.
Q: What are the benefits of customizable shaft diameter and material options for this seal?
A: Customizable shaft diameters and a selection of elastomers and face materials enable optimal compatibility with various machinery and process fluids. These tailored options enhance the seals lifespan, reliability, and chemical resistance, reducing the need for frequent replacements and minimizing downtime.
Q: When is it ideal to use this multi spring mechanical seal?
A: This seal is best suited for industrial applications involving pumps, compressors, and agitators that require robust performance under rigorous operating conditions. Its zero leakage design and resistance to corrosion make it ideal for handling aggressive fluids, high pressures (up to 24 Bar), and speeds up to 2900 RPM.
Q: Where can this seal be installed and who can benefit from it?
A: Thanks to its universal fitting and interchangeable design, this seal can be installed on a wide range of standard equipment across industries including manufacturing, chemical processing, and water treatment. Dealers, distributors, exporters, and fabricators in India can easily integrate this seal into their offerings.
Q: What is the process for selecting the correct elastomer or face material for my application?
A: To select the appropriate elastomer or face material, consider the chemical compatibility with the process fluid, operating temperature range, pressure, and speed of the equipment. Common elastomer options include Viton, EPDM, PTFE, and Nitrile, while face materials can be chosen from Carbon, Ceramic, Silicon Carbide, or Tungsten Carbide based on wear resistance needs.
Q: How does the low maintenance requirement benefit users?
A: The robust construction and high-quality materials ensure long service intervals, reducing unplanned downtime and operational costs. Its design also allows easy inspection and replacement, streamlining maintenance processes for operators and technicians.
